In League In Harmony School Program: Week 1-6

The ILIH school program is delivered in school grounds with each session delivered for 90minutes. Each session incorporates 2 key aspects In class interactive learning activities and physical activity sessions.

Classroom Talk (45mins) - A series (six sessions) of social cohesion theme-based activities conducted by our Program Facilitators and Community Ambassadors. Within the program, each participant is provided with an ILIH activity book to complete.

Each session incorporates a physical activity component (45mins) - Rugby League skills sessions tailored for both those new to the game and the experienced. We see movement as an educational tool that not only teaches the students the fundamental skills of Rugby League, but also promotes key messages such as positive communication, teamwork, courage and preparation learnt in the classroom! There are non-contact activities delivered in the program, we execute skill-based and modified versions such as League Tag and NRL Touch Football.

In League In Harmony Gala Day: Week 7

Let's Play! The celebratory In League In Harmony Gala Day is conducted in the seventh week of the program at a central location for all schools involved for that
school term. Hosted by NRL Social Impact Staff, participants celebrate their newly-acquired knowledge and skills from the past six sessions and apply their learnings and understanding of living in a positive and inclusive community in this non competitive gala day.

Participants are presented with awards for showcasing positive attitudes and leadership qualities throughout the six sessions in their schools.
