A thirty-point haul by South Sydney fullback, Kurt French, provided the basis for the Rabbitohs to secure their first win of season at Redfern Oval on Saturday.

Taking on the undefeated Broncos in warm conditions, the former Wynnum Manly junior, raced in three tries and kicked nine successful goals to help his team race out 54 – 30 winners.

The impressive haul, sees Kurt move to third in the overall point scorer ladder on 46 points, following Manaia Rudolph (Wests Tigers) and William Smith (Newcastle) who both sit on 52 points.

Joining French on the scoresheet for the Rabbitohs in their impressive win included Berala Bear junior, Apisai Koroisau, who also crossed for a hat-trick and British import, George Burgess who secured a double.
