Canterbury Bulldogs skipper Josh Jackson is facing a 1-2 game suspension for a dangerous contact charge on Canberra Raiders halfback Aidan Sezer in Thursday night's 26-10 loss.

Jackson was placed on report for the 78th minute challenge on Sezer as he kicked the ball, resulting in the Raiders playmaker being taken from the field for a head injury assessment.

Jackson will miss one game with an early plea or two with an unsuccessful challenge.

A Bulldogs spokesperson said the club would not be making any comment on the incident.

Meanwhile, winger Brett Morris is set to be assessed over the weekend after leaving the field in the 11th minute with a facial injury.

The 31-year-old suffered a nasty gash in the act of chasing down Raiders winger Jordan Rapana and required stitches under the eye post-game.
