Hall of Fame can't just be judged on statistics and entertainment

Statistics so often define rugby league players.

But let's throw tries, line breaks, length-of-the-field runs, and grand final wins out the window.

That kind of entertainment value of a player is only half the story if you want to be in the NRL Hall of Fame.

So that's why great players – some of the great entertainers – like Cliff Lyons, Greg Alexander and Kevin Walters, are not in my six to be inducted in July.
