Eels v Rabbitohs
The Rabbitohs weren't at their best last weekend, but did manage to register a win and make it five in a row. They welcome back their four Origin stars against a Parramatta side who finally had a victory. Jarryd Hayne was impressive after returning from injury, but it's a much bigger task this week for the Eels. They will have to be at their absolute best if they're to get a win this weekend.

Cowboys v Warriors
The Cowboys are out of sorts and although Paul Green has made plenty of changes, I don't think it will help. Their opponents - the Warriors - are the real deal and they showed last weekend why they are a genuine contender. Shaun Johnson was superb and with Roger Tuivasa-Sheck back this week, they'll be too good for North Queensland despite having a poor record in Townsville.

Roosters v Panthers
The game of the round. The Roosters have lost three from four against top four teams this season and if they're to prove they really are a top-four side, then they need to win this one. It's a big game for their forward pack and the battle of the two number sevens will be a cracker. The Panthers will be looking for their fifth straight win and once again will look to their halves to steer them around. It's a big game for James Maloney and Nathan Cleary with Origin two just around the corner.

Bulldogs v Titans
The Bulldogs need to take their second-half performance from last week into this week. They were impressive in the second 40 against the Dragons and a return to Belmore this week needs to spark the side. The Titans have only won one away game this year and although they were unlucky last weekend against the Rabbitohs, the task will be too hard at Belmore.

Dragons v Sea Eagles
The Dragons hung on last weekend, but that just goes to show the type of team they are. Manly just keep on picking up injuries and missing Api Koroisau is a big loss. They have not beaten the Dragons in Wollongong since 2003, while the Saints have won their past four from five at WIN Stadium.

Coaches Corner: Which Origin stars backed up

Sharks v Broncos
The Sharks head into this clash having won seven of their past eight matches. Their big guns stood up last week and they'll be looking for those players once again on Saturday night. The Broncos were well beaten in Melbourne last weekend and need more from their halves if they're to give this competition a shake. James Roberts returning is a big inclusion, but the Sharks love a Saturday night battle in the Shire.

Knights v Storm
Defence has been a real issue for the Knights this year as well as having a six and seven to steer the side around since the injury to Mitchell Pearce. The Storm were outstanding in the second 40 last weekend and welcome back a host of stars. They have won their past five against the Knights and with Cameron Smith in good form, it's hard to go past Melbourne.

Tigers v Raiders
Once again Ivan Cleary has made changes to his back five. They have won two of their past eight games and are just outside the eight. They need to score points and need Luke Brooks and Josh Reynolds to fire this weekend. The Raiders welcome back Josh Hodgson who provides so much stability around the ruck. His calming influence will help their halves who have really struggled to manage games throughout the season and guide a team to a victory when in a winning position.
