Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad in action for the Warriors' Intrust Super Premiership NSW team in 2018.

Canberra have strengthened their backline depth with the signing of former Warriors outside back Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad.

Nicoll-Klokstad on a two-year contract and could be in contention for the fullback spot at the Green Machine with Jack Wighton set to move to five-eighth this season, or could be a candidate to replace the injured Jordan Rapana on the wing in round one.

He played seven NRL games on the wing for the Warriors in 2017, and after playing out the 2018 season in the Intrust Super Premiership NSW confirmed on Instagram that he was leaving the club.

The 23-year-old utility back thanked the Warriors for "everything they've given me and my family the last 4 years" and said that he was looking forward to the opportunity which had presented itself.
