In a series analysing who will line up in each position for all 16 teams in the opening round of the Telstra Premiership in 2020, jetwinvip.com looks at the Cronulla Sharks.

jetwinvip.com says: The return of Jesse Ramien adds to what was already a log-jam in the centres, with Josh Morris potentially pushed out to the wing. However, Josh Dugan is very long odds to feature in round one due to a degenerative knee injury. Impressive youngsters Ronaldo Mulitalo and Sione Katoa are battling for a spot on the flank.

Concerns have been raised over Matt Moylan's fitness. Morris has been training at fullback and would slot in if Moylan is unavailable.

Cameron King was signed as a back-up to Blayke Brailey but the hooker suffered a knee injury in the trial against the Bulldogs.

Playmaker Connor Tracey is set to slot on to the bench as a utility. Expect Jack Williams and Billy Magoulias to play plenty of NRL in the post-Paul Gallen era.

Jamie Soward says: Billy Magoulias can cover hooker after an incredible season for Newtown in 2019 where he showed he has plenty of skill.

He and Jack Williams cover for the loss of Paul Gallen at lock and Toby Rudolf for me has earned a bench spot after what he did for Newtown last season after coming back from a knee reconstruction.
