They may have fallen short against Melbourne, but Parramatta dominated the Telstra Tracker in week one of the finals with Waqa Blake and Clint Gutherson topping the speed and high-speed effort categories.
Blake's defence has been under the microscope leading into Saturday's sudden-death clash with South Sydney, but the centre is a proven attacking weapon and clocked an impressive speed of 36.1km/h in the 36-24 loss to the Storm.
The 25-year-old beat Knights centre Bradman Best (35.5km/h), Melbourne fullback Ryan Papenhuyzen (35km/h), Sharks custodian Will Kennedy (34.6) and Raiders halfback George Williams (34.5).
Eels captain Gutherson, meanwhile, has been a staple of the weekly top five for high-speed efforts (bursts of 20km/h or more) and his total of 41 was four off the season record which he jointly owns.
The tireless No.1 edged out Raiders dynamo Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad (39 high-speed efforts), Parramatta teammate Dylan Brown (34), Canberra skipper Jarrod Croker (34) and Papenhuyzen (34).
Elsewhere, Roosters halves Luke Keary and Kyle Flanagan and Sharks five-eighth Connor Tracey tied for the most distance covered on 9.8km.
Cronulla halfback Chad Townsend (9.4) and Gutherson (9.3) came next.
