Selwyn Cobbo once again dominated the Telstra Tracker data from Round 12 to pave the way for his stunning selection in the Maroons State of Origin camp despite having just 19 NRL games to his name.
The Broncos winger was at his electric best once again in Friday night's thrilling comeback win over the Titans, scoring a crucial try to help Kevin Walters' side come back from a half-time deficit to keep their winning streak alive.
Cobbo achieved the rare feat of topping both the high speed and sprint distance in Round 12, which measures the number of metres covered by player above a certain speed. The teenage star ran for 821 metres at a speed greater than 20 kilometres per hour and 325 metres at a speed greater than 25 kilometres per hour — both more than any other player in the Telstra Premiership in Round 12.

Brisbane's intensity to fight back against the Titans showed up in the number of players that starred in the high speed distance. Cobbo's 821 metres was narrowly ahead of halfback Ezra Mam (814 metres) while Kotoni Staggs made it a Broncos trifecta as he came in third with 773 metres.
Mam's numbers, in particular, are of note with halves rarely featuring in the high speed distance category — more commonly found in the total distance column which was led by Nathan Cleary (9395 metres) and Chad Townsend (9375 metres).
Not to be outdone, however, Mam still managed to come in fourth in that department, slightly behind Tom Deaden (9238m) with 9223 metres.
AJ the record breaker
Elsewhere, Alex Johnston's memorable hat-trick at Accor Stadium saw him become the all-time leading try-scorer for South Sydney, which was highlighted in the Telstra Tracker data through his efforts during the game.
Johnston achieved the fourth highest maximum velocity throughout the round with a top speed of 34.5 kilometres per hour (slightly behind Titans winger Jamayne Isaako's 35.3 km/h top speed), while also coming in fourth for sprint distance metres with 252 metres covered a speed greater than 25 kilometres per hour.
