The National Rugby League has confirmed today Ashley Klein will referee Ampol State of Origin III, at Suncorp Stadium on Wednesday, July 13.
The same on-field officiating group which was part of Origin II will take charge of the decider – Klein, alongside touch judges Phil Henderson and Drew Oultram.
“Ashley has refereed extremely well in the opening two Origin games and deserves to officiate in the final game of the series,” NRL General Manager – Elite Officiating Jared Maxwell said.
“These officials have been very good through the series and additionally in the Premiership. Their experience in the big games will be extremely important in a decider.”
