Sharks fullback Lachlan Miller led the way on the Telstra Tracker with efforts at high speed last weekend, while Roosters interchange hooker Shawden Burton achieved the most metres per minute of any player in the NRLW this season.
Miller topped the competition for distance travelled above 20 kilometres per hour with a 889-metre haul, and sat third in terms of sprint distance achieved (speeds above 25 km/h) with 286 metres.
Cowboys flyer Kyle Feldt topped the sprint distance category, with 319 metres of running at above 25 km/h.
Penrith big man Eddie Blacker marked an impressive club debut by clocking the second-fastest top speed of the round, maxing out at 35.9 km/h, just short of Titans winger Jojo Fifita’s top speed of 36 km/h.
Blacker makes the play of the night
Players involved in Saturday’s golden point thriller in Auckland between the Warriors and Titans owned the top three places in the total distance category, with departing Warriors No.6 Chanel Harris-Tavita finishing his final NRL game with 10,080 metres of total running.
Gold Coast match-winner Tanah Boyd was the next best with 9966 metres, followed by Warriors Player of the Year Euan Aitken on 9491 metres.
In Round 3 of the NRLW, Burton’s busy 28-minute stint in her side’s win over the Dragons saw her achieve this season’s highest relative distance of the year (98.9 metres/minute).
Titans fullback Apii Nicholls had a busy day at the back in her side’s loss to the Broncos and topped the round in both high speed distance (above 20 km/h) and sprint distance (above 25 km/h).
The former New Zealand representative also racked up the eighth-highest total distance travelled with 6969 metres.
That category was led by Broncos fullback Hayley Maddick whose 7545 metres put her ahead of Eels wing Zali Fay on 7334 metres and Roosters veteran Samantha Bremner on 7256 metres.
Bremner the escape artist
Bremner was the standout all-rounder for week three of the competition, appearing in the top four of all five categories measured by the Tracker, as she continued her remarkable return to action after two years out due to pregnancy.
In her NRLW debut, Knights winger Jakiya Whitfield recorded the second fastest speed of any player at 28.2 km/h, just behind Jaime Chapman's 28.8 km/h.
