Harvey Norman All Stars 2023

Māori All Stars v Indigenous All Stars Women, Saturday 1:30pm AEDT (3:30pm NZDT) at Rotorua International Stadium

Māori Women: Kennedy Cherrington is late withdrawal from the initial squad after suffering a broken hand whilst playing for the Bulldogs in the Harvey Norman NSW Women's Premiership last weekend. There are only four players who have been named to return to the side following last year's defeat, although some of those selections are also forced with stars Botille Vette-Welsh (knee), Corban Baxter (pregnancy) and Raecene McGregor (knee) all unavailable. Four players have earned recalls - Shanice Parker, Zali Fay, Capri Paekau and Harata Butler, after representing the team previously while as many as nine could debut including NRLW stars Gayle Broughton and Destiny Brill.

Indigenous Women: Jillaroos stars Caitlan Johnston (personal reasons) and Tallisha Harden (knee) are out with Shakiah Tungai and Ahlivia Ingram added to the team. Jaime Chapman starts at fullback after Tamika Upton withdrew from the squad in January. Indigenous All Stars coach Ben Jeffries will blood six debutantes including teen sensation Jada Taylor. Quincy Dodd will captain the side.
