State of Origin 2023: Everything you need to know for Game Two

Your complete game day guide for Game Two of the 2023 Ampol State of Origin series at Suncorp Stadium.

Event Details

  • 5.15pm – Corporate gates open at Suncorp Stadium
  • 5.30pm – Public gates open at Suncorp Stadium
  • 5.45pm – RISE Academy, Rise Maroon v Rise Silver
  • 7.30pm – Pre-game entertainment commences
  • 8.05pm – State of Origin Game II, QLD Maroons v NSW Blues

Game Day Information

  • Arrive as early as possible to avoid queues and to enjoy the curtain raiser and pre-match entertainment.
  • Bags must be A4 size or smaller.
  • Suncorp Stadium is a cashless venue, payments are by card only.
  • Download your ticket before you arrive at the Stadium and have the barcode ready to scan when you get to the gate.
  • No smoking or vaping allowed inside the stadium.

Transport Information

Public transport is the best way to get to Suncorp Stadium and is included FREE with your ticket on all Queensland Rail City Network (excluding Airtrain) and all Transport for Brisbane bus services.

Ditch the car! Parking restrictions will apply in the localand the area surrounding the stadium. On-the-spot fines will be issued to offending motorists.

Road closures are expected to be in place for this event including Milton Road which will close approximately 20 minutes prior to full time for a period of approximately 1 hour. 

Telstra Tracker

One lucky fan will have the chance to race against the Telstra Tracked time of Queensland’s Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow for a chance to win a Premiership jersey!

KFC & Shannon Noll

Australian Singer/Songwriter and Australian Idol 2003 Runner Up, Shannon Noll, will be performing alongside his band pre-game at State of Origin II.

Thanks to KFC, Shannon will be performing his classics as well as new hits including the Fried Night Footy Anthem released earlier this year. Be sure to get there earlier as this is not to be missed!

Westpac Catch&Keep is Back

If you catch the match ball, don’t throw it back – it’s yours to keep!

For the first time ever, thanks to Westpac, if the match ball goes into the crowd during game two of the 2023 State of Origin series, the lucky fan who catches it, gets to keep it!

The Powers Bar will be open from 4:30pm in the precinct area at the northern (Caxton St) end of Suncorp Stadium. Come and enjoy a drink before all the action kicks off. Capacity is limited so get in quick.
