After going unbeaten over the past month the Roosters are seeking a fifth-straight win when they take on an Eels side who celebrated picking up their first victory last week.
The Tricolours were in devastating form in Round 6 as they ran in 10 tries to thump the Wests Tigers 48-10 and remain at the top of the NRLW ladder thanks to a healthy points differential.
While their attack has been red-hot – hitting scores of 30 or more in five of six games this season – coach John Strange will likely be most pleased with his side’s defensive efforts, which has seen them leak more than two tries just twice all year.
At the other end of the table, it’s been a tough year for Parramatta on the back of a grand final appearance in 2022, but a hard-fought 16-12 win over the Cowboys last week will have boosted morale throughout the squad.
After giving up 32.4 points on average through the first five rounds, the Eels held North Queensland to just two tries and they’ll need to replicate that type of effort if they are to be any chance against the prolific Roosters.
The last time these sides met the Eels upset the Roosters 24-10 to qualify through to last year's decider.

Following confirmation during the week that Shawden Burton's season is over due to an ACL injury, Joeli Morris comes onto the bench while Grace Hamilton returns to the side. Jayme Fressard won't play as she continues to work back from a concussion in Round 5, so hat-trick debutante Mia Wood keeps her spot on the wing.
Eels: No further changes after Capri Paekau dropped off the bench on Saturday, replaced by Taneka Todhunter in jersey No.20. Lindsay Tui keeps a spot in the centres after being a late inclusion in Round 6. Kyra Simon is the 18th player.
