NRLW venue change for Round 9

The scheduled Round Nine NRL Telstra Women’s Premiership match between Wests Tigers and Newcastle Knights tomorrow night has been moved to Leichhardt Oval due to poor air quality.

The National Rugby League (NRL) was today advised by Campbelltown City Council that air quality at Campbelltown Stadium may be unsuitable due to backburning in the region.

The NRL said the safety of players, staff and fans would always be a priority, and thanked Clubs and broadcasters for their cooperation regarding the change.

For those unable to attend the game at Leichhardt Oval due to the venue change, refunds will be available via the Ticketek website. All original tickets will be valid for the entry to Leichhardt Oval.
