AJ Brimson says he didn't think twice when agreeing to a new deal which sees him remain on the Coast for a further six years.
Inking an extension to all but make him a Titan for life, the excitement machine had no doubts with continuing his journey with the club he joined as a 15-year-old, now signed until the end of 2030.
"I've always made it quite clear that I want to be one club player and play for the Titans across my entire career," he said.
"I really love this club and the people at the club. I love the staff, I love where the club is and I love where the club is going.
"I never had too much doubt in my mind. I wanted to be here long term.
"I know it hasn't been the greatest start to the season but all the boys have loved their time under Des [Hasler] and I've loved Des coming to the club with what he offers.
"I can just see brightness coming into the future and we've got a good young squad with players that want to stay here, so for me it was an easy decision, and is something I'm excited about."
Alongside his endorsement of two-time premiership-winning coach Hasler, the 108-gamer admits the recommitment of Tino Fa'asuamaleaui and David Fifita helped sweeten the deal to remain a Titan, hoping to now pave the way for further players to extend their time in a bid to bring the first premiership to the Gold Coast.
"There's a lot of young players coming through and it's good to see players like Tino, David and myself want to be here long-term," Brimson said.
"It shows we're committed to the club and where it's going, and it should help other boys see what I'm seeing and convince them to stay as well.
"Especially seeing those boys re-sign, I said to my manager pretty early that I wanted to stay a Titan for life."
Whilst currently on the sidelines with a groin injury sustained against the Cowboys, Brimson is expected to remain a permanent spine upon his return after the Titans' third bye, enjoying the ability and freedom with ball-in-hand as a playmaker.
"To be fair... I had a chat with Dessie and I don't think I'll be going back to the centres," he said.
"I didn't hate the centres, but I enjoy being around the ball more.
"That's the plan moving forward and we'll get to the nit-picking of whether it's six or one and where everyone fits in best own the track, but I'm just stoked to be locked in as a spine member."
