Super Saturdays
Round 1 Saturday March 8 - Dragons v Bulldogs at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium (Fox) - 5.30pm AEDT
The Bulldogs prevailed in front of a sold-out Kogarah crowd in a night of high drama when the two sides faced off late last season. Dragons playmaker Kyle Flanagan hasn't played since the match but he has an early opportunity to make an instant impact on the 2025 campaign. A similar crowd is expected for the season opener as St George Illawarra off-season recruits Valentine Holmes, Damien Cook and Clint Gutherson turn out for their first match for their new club. The Bulldogs surprised many with their charge to the finals in 2024 and a Round 1 clash with the Dragons is an early chance to prove they will again be a force to be reckoned with in 2025.

Round 5 Saturday April 5 - Titans v Dolphins at Cbus Super Stadium (Fox) - 5.30pm AEDT, 4.30pm local
The Titans and Dolphins produced two entertaining contests in 2024 and the Queensland rivals are set to put on another show early in the new year at Cbus Super Stadium. Des Hasler's rebuild showed promising signs in the back end of last season, with the veteran coach eager to make a fast start to the 2025 campaign. Kristian Woolf is out to build on the platform laid by Wayne Bennett in the Dolphins' first two seasons. Halfback Isaiya Katoa was impressive throughout 2024 and has another opportunity to make an early statement.

Round 5 Saturday April 5 - Broncos v Wests Tigers at Suncorp Stadium (Fox) - 7.35pm AEDT, 6.35pm local
Brisbane coach Michael Maguire has an early chance to claim some revenge over his former club when the Broncos host the Tigers in Round 5. Maguire coached Wests for four seasons however he endured a messy exit in 2022. Next season marks his return to club football and he is eager to repay Brisbane with a positive start to the season. The Round 5 clash will provide an early indication of Benji Marshall's rebuild at the Tigers, with Jarome Luai eager to lead a surge up the ladder.
It's Walsh's world...
Round 7 Saturday April 19 - Roosters v Panthers at Allianz Stadium (Fox) - 7.35pm AEST
The Roosters' poor record against fellow heavyweights Penrith and Melbourne is something they'll be keen to turn around in 2025 and a quirk of the draw sees them face the premiers twice in the first seven rounds. After clashing in Round 2 at the Panthers' new home ground at CommBank Stadium they meet again in Round 7 at Allianz, with both clashes sure to reveal plenty about how the new-look Roosters will fare in 2025. The chance to watch two of the great fullbacks of the modern era in James Tedesco and Dylan Edwards, as well as two playmaking freaks in Sam Walker and Nathan Cleary, will ensure a bumper crowd at Allianz Stadium on a Saturday night.
What a return from Edwards
Round 11 Saturday May 17 - Sharks v Storm at Pointsbet Stadium (Fox) - 7.35pm AEST
Another chapter will be written in a cracking modern-day rivalry that reached its crescendo in the memorable 2016 decider when the Sharks claimed their first ever premiership after 50 years of trying. The sides have met 15 times since that emotional night, with the Storm holding a 9-6 advantage, including a thumping 37-10 triumph in the 2024 qualifying final. Hooker Harry Grant snared his first career hat-trick of tries in that match and he'll be out to dominate again as Craig Bellamy's men look to chalk up plenty of competition points before they enter the Origin preriod.
