Ramsey's introduction to the rugby league vernacular was spurred by his starring role at the 2020 Perth Nines with the 2019 Dragons Under 20s Player of the Year named as the Nines' Best Rookie and in the tournament's Best Nine.
Ramsey made his long-awaited NRL debut in Round 18, 2020 on the wing, where he remained for the rest of the Dragons' campaign.
Hailing from Molong, Ramsey progressed through the St George junior representative ranks and made the permanent jump to the Dragons NRL squad in 2021.
He earnt the side’s starting fullback role in Round 11, 2022 and remained there until the end of the year, scoring six tries from 12 outings.
The soon-to-be 25-year-old remains sidelined after contracting ulcerative colitis in the lead-up to the 2023 season.
