Biography:

Andrew Webster signed a three-year contract in July 2022 to become the One New Zealand Warriors' head coach from 2023.

He joined the club from the Penrith Panthers where he was an integral part of their 2021 and 2022 NRL premiership successes as an assistant coach.

Webster began his coaching career as a 23-year-old and quickly progressed in the next six
seasons as an assistant coach at Hull Kingston Rovers in the Super League.

He returned home to Australia in 2012 progressing through the ranks at the Wests Tigers,
Parramatta Eels and the One New Zealand Warriors en route to the Panthers and then the Warriors for the second time in his career.

His first link with the Warriors was in the 2015 and 2016 seasons when he worked as an assistant coach with Andrew McFadden.

In his debut year as a head coach he guided the Warriors to a top four finish in the regular season which saw him named the Dally M Coach of the Year.

After a loss to the Panthers in week one of the finals, Webster steered the Warriors to a stunning 40-10 home win over Newcastle in week two to set up a preliminary final against the Broncos in Brisbane. There the Warriors' run ended one win short of making the grand final.

Following the season Webster and the Warriors agreed on a three-year contract extension through to the end of the 2028 season.
